“25 years ago, the circumstances for opening an Antwerp branch weren’t quite right. But the times have changed. We’ve noticed companies are looking to open a base of operations in central cities, like Antwerp, mainly for mobility reasons. This trend has caught our eye and led us to decide to open a brand-new office in the south of Antwerp. Here, we’ll focus on the office market, together with the semi-industrial and logistics markets.”
Thanks to the Port of Antwerp, the city is an economic powerhouse for the whole Flanders region when it comes to international trade. That’s a unique position for a Belgian office location, and explains why offices in Antwerp are so sought-after.

Head of Antwerp Office – International Partner
Eric accidentally entered the real estate industry when he was 20, working for Cushman & Wakefield’s predecessor. For 27 years, he took on different roles, including CEO of Cushman & Wakefield Belgium. After subsequently working as a client manager at another real estate company for several years, he re-joined Cushman & Wakefield in February 2018, eager to make the new Antwerp branch a success.
Eric combines social skills with a human focus. He enjoys working with people and loves to see the branch succeed as a team. Needless to say, that team spirit is his top priority. As head of the Antwerp branch, he wants to be the coach that the team needs in order to be better and bolder than ever before, and to make their name the go-to for commercial real estate in Antwerp.
“Some gamechangers, like coworking and e-commerce, have had a significant impact on the market – and new developments are underway as we speak. This trend pushes us to look ahead. Yves entered the real estate industry at the age of 20. After building an impressive career for over two decades, he’s ready to be one of the driving forces behind the Antwerp branch of Cushman & Wakefield. He just couldn’t pass up on the chance to put the new Cushman & Wakefield office on the commercial real estate map, as one of the Big 4. Sam realized that the real estate industry was his cup of tea quite early on. After studying real estate at the Artesis Hogeschool in Malines, he learned the tricks of the trade at Jones Lang and Anker18. Caroline started her career in media. Launching her own fashion brand several years later, she successfully turned her hobby into her profession. After running her fashion company for over 10 years, she decided to take a different professional path and launched into real estate. She was first the office manager of a residential real estate company for several years, before opting for the drive and ambition of Cushman & Wakefield Antwerp
Caroline boasts great sales and real estate experience from previous jobs. She effortlessly combines her insights with punctuality, organizational talent, customer focus and above all a big smile. The fact that commercial real estate is a new challenge for her only motivates her more
